Hi, i use 2 ANPR Cams to monitor my busy road and eventually realised what they missed (due to motion detection not activating if the subject moved too fast) was often more than they were capturing so I moved over to Continuous recording. Now with everything being captured I of course have to trawl through on x4 speed or just note times of interest to look up the next day. I do miss the nights events being viewable in just a few minutes but then again i was only getting half the story i guess.
My question is with my continouse file is there any post encoding program that I could use to play my video file to find the points of motion detection for me to view in a much shorter time? Does Blue Iris or anything else do this?
I record reliably on two 500 Gig SD cards on both ANPR cams and get about 2 weeks storage out of them. I'm happy with them and my system won't be growing so didn't make a jump to an NVR or DVR (maybe that's my only solution if they cover that?). Any pointers apreciated thanks.
