Reolink nvr idea needed

I was wondering can I put a reolink nvr in between drop ceiling their is about 12 inch height from the original ceiling to the drop ceiling.

I don't see why not.
You may be able to hear it working - we're not familiar with Reolink, so can't really comment on how noisy the fans and HDD activity is.

thank you for reply but I am not worried about the noise as this going inside a shop suspending ceiling but was wondering about the heat I have put a temperature probe in and at this very moment it show 23c this my worried as i can access everything via PC it just the heat it does have fan built in but still worried.

The technical specification / datasheet for the NVR should detail max / min working temperature.
The Hikvision NVRs are typically fine to 40°C or more.
