speed dome IP camera reverting back to preset position and not recording

I recently purchased a speed dome IP camera (DS-2DE52201-AE) that continuously reverts back to preset focus position whenever i focus it in a specific direction. I have tried creating a tracking pattern but if there is a power outage or interruption, it reboots and goes to the preset position. moreover i have 16 cameras on my 9600 series NVR and just that specific camera has no recorded feed on it.

how do i rectify?

In regards to the PTZ reverting its position, if you look at the attached user manual for your model you will see from p56 onwards there are several PTZ configuration settings that should help you fix this problem including changing the initial position of the PTZ, setting a position resume point after power off and more.

In regards to the recording issue, can you send us a screenshot of the NVRs record schedule for the PTZ camera please.
