Firmware Upgrading my DS-2CD2532F-IWS IP cameras to V5.3.0 firmware?

I'm looking to upgrade my DS-2CD2532F-IWS 5.3.0 firmware.

Anyone attempt to do this successfully without getting locked out?

I'm guessing that 5.3.0 is when Hikvision changed the UI and enforced strong passwords (8 character minimum). It requires creating a new admin password on the cameras (changing from 12345). The issue is that when you're prompted to create the new password, the NVR can no longer connect. I found the easiest way was to use a separate PoE supply or switch to power the camera while doing the update, default the camera once complete and reconnect to the NVR PoE port. If it fails to activate the camera, simply temporally put it in a different PoE port to get it to connect (it can be switched back to the correct one once activated)
