Volt Free drift?

HI all,

Hikvision KD-8 access control. Using both relays. Relay two is set for volt free operation. Seemingly, it's randomly closing at times.

I'm trying to think of ideas as to why this is happening - the software logs show no action. Could it be a floating earth changing the reference voltage? Moisture bridging terminals?

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Perhaps your cable is shorting rather than relay closing. Never had an relay self triggering problem before.

Yes, I haven't had that problem either before. Hence I'm thinking through all possible scenarios. It occurs at random times, which doesn't help troubleshooting!
