Hi

I am sorting out a camera for my dad who has a HiLook by Hikvision NVR-108H-D/4p NVR. I am thinking of getting a HiLook by Hikvision PTZ-N4225I-DE 2MP. The NVR is a 4 port which is only powering one other camera.

Can this NVR power the camera or will it need a poe injector ?

Thanks

Hi @Ukbrucetaylor

The PTZ uses a max. 18W and uses the IEEE 802.3at, the PoE budget of the NVR is 36W and it supports both IEEE 802.3af & IEEE 802.3at PoE standards.

So as long as the other camera already connected is just a standard fixed focal length camera (which should only be drawing about 6-10W) you should be fine to also power the PTZ off that NVR.
