Hi So I now have the camera! I’ve added to hikvision and it’s recording continuously to my NVR. It’s also recording events in the EZVIZ app but not highlighting as events in hikvision. If I try and add basic hikvision events then no events are recorded anywhere! Strange. I might have to live...

I’m getting a Ezviz camera which is able to pan and track people on alert - but this needs to be set up using the Ezviz app. So can I configure this but still have it record to the hikvision NVR and it log/playback events etc?

But i understand it’s only the basic events that can be set up from the nvr?

That’s interesting thanks very much. What would be the process if I want to use the Ezviz detection/alarms but still record (and playback?) to Hikvision nvr? Perform the same steps but don’t remove from the Ezviz app?

Im just looking some more and can see you can add third party cameras to hikvision nvrs. Im wondering if this is better, and if anyone knows of any compatible wifi cameras which can constantly record and ideally have smart events etc (i know unlikely)

Hi! I have a DS7608-NI NAS and some fixed Hikvision external IP cameras. I now need an indoor camera which might need to be WiFi as I can’t get a physical connection to it. I found a couple below but they seem to be quite old and not sure if they are able to write constantly to my NAS or only...

ok so again @Kyle, you were spot on thanks! Also i think i was trying to go over multiple line crossing lines on the same camera too quickly. Even going over the same line within about a minute or two doesn't cause an alert - maybe this is intentional?

ok so at some point it looks the encryption key got wiped! filled it in and reinstalled the local component service (just in case) and the live view is working now! Thanks! i have just one more issue left. One of my line crossings seems to be only intermittently alerting. There are 3 line...

Hi Hmm ok. Maybe the monitor unit also would ring? Do you know if I could get it to ring on my phone and my wife’s phone at the same time? I’m guessing you can’t wire it in to an existing wired doorbell either? I would only want alarms to go off when the button was pressed. Not something that...

I don’t have a camera at that location. Plus I have other people in the house who don’t have the app and need a more ‘traditional’ non tech setup

Thanks so much for your reply I thought you had to use the station to set it up and use it, etc? Do you rely on your phone to be alerted to the doorbell? I need something audible to be heard throughout the house?
