Hey mate I saw your post about using the SD card on Hikvision DS-KV6113 to record events- do you need a DVR to do this? Sorry for reaching out I'm so confused!

Would you be able to perform a password reset for my HIKVision. I've used the SADP tool and emailed HIKvision without any luck, and also tried TFTP with no luck as well. I have the file (from SADP) and a serial for the box.

If I do get the box reset do the cameras also need reset, not sure if they are IP Cameras or merely cameras that plug into the box. They do plug into the back of the box.
