@David Unfortunately i cant hardwire into a wifi router. Is this something i can do just once to assign everything or does it have to be connected to the internet

ok I have bought a Hikvision DS 7608NI-I2/8P and 2 x iDS-TCM403 ANPR Cameras and im clearly missing something as I cant get them to grab any license plates. Only thing i have is Video. I have conneted the nvr to my laptop which has internet access. Done know if someone knows how to remote view...

Hey @esjim I thought the iDS-TCM403 was POE but do you have to power it with 24dc aswell mate ? if you got a second could you shout me on vacanoltd@aol.com as your the only guy ive found with this camera.
