I am looking to install a Hikvision 8Ch POE NVR. I’m probably overthinking something but will this setup cause any issues Router > Switch > NVR and then the cameras connected to the POE ports on the NVR?

That’s a bit disappointing. I think I need to get mine mounted outside, I purchased one initially to do some testing and see if it’ll meet my needs, but I’d like to review footage for a couple of nights before committing.
