Just an update to say that the intercom device compatibility has been fixed on V5.04.050 build 250124. You now need to add the doorbell as an Access Control Device rather than a Video Device and use the 'HIKVISION' protocol type, which should allow you to set motion detection and motion-based...

Thanks, unfortunately, that's just a regular network switch with no PoE capabilities, which is why it isn't powering either unit. You're not the first to make that mistake! You'll need an 802.3af PoE switch to power the doorbell and indoor screen, like one of the models on this page...

Hikvision Support may eventually respond to your reset request, but they tend to only deal with authorised suppliers. You could try one of the other email addresses on this page: https://www.hikvision.com/uk/about-us/contact-us/technical-support/ But, it is always best to send the reset file...

Are you trying to reset it via the physical reset button on the back of the unit and have you followed these steps to do so? If you send the XML file to your supplier, they should be able to send it to Hikvision Support to get the reset file quickly too.

Hi @Srdjan - we can't say for sure as the DS-KH6220-LE1 was made EOL a few years ago, so we can't test it, but they should be compatible. In any case, I would recommend one of the below current models, which are the most affordable and still receiving firmware updates...

Well done for figuring it out :) In case it's handy in the future, this guide shows how you can see the connected cameras' passwords on your NVR before disconnecting them - it should save you from having to do any future password resets...

That setting may only be on I-Series models or later versions of the V4 firmware... If the camera firmware doesn't help, you could try the newer NVR firmware too - V4.74.205 build 230712. Otherwise, I'm out of ideas as it's a very unusual one - sorry!
