Thanks- you might be right, I'll let you know what I find out...
On that note, I've also had clarification that AcuSearch is only included with the paid-for HikCentral-L-VSS-1Ch camera licences, meaning it isn't included with the free 16 channels that come with the software.
However, you can...
I'm afraid not - I've checked with Hikvision and they've confirmed there's not an equivalent setting for this yet.
You can create, customise and save custom views, but it's not possible to get them to play automatically on launch.
I'm still looking into this. As you say, the timeline markers...
That's right, you can add 16 cameras/channels to the software free of charge, but you will need to purchase:
HikCentral-L-VSS-1Ch for every additional camera / channel.
HikCentral-L-Storage-1Ch for every additional camera that you would like to record to you storage server / PC (the standard...
Yes, our understanding is that HikCentral Lite is replacing iVMS-4200, which will always work, but Hikvision will eventually stop releasing updates for it.
This thread seems like a good opportunity to explain HCL and the key improvements vs iVMS-4200, so here goes...
It's their new entry-level...
Hi @Ofealas, what is the model of the device you are trying to access please?
You usually land on that page when trying to access a device that does not have a web interface, such as the new Hikvision Wi-Fi cameras, at they are intended to be set up within the Hik-Connect app.
TP-Link currently has three manufacturing bases: in China, Vietnam and Brazil (which is under construction).
At a basic level, where NDAA compliance has come to imply not 'Made in China' we were surprised when we got hands-on with this new range to find that the NDAA-badged VIGI NVRs and new...
Hi @Gee - can you please share the full model number of your NVR, the firmware version it's running, and also the model numbers of the cameras?
Quite often these kinds of issues are sorted with a firmware update.
Hi @safeqaz - I can't find anything that says your RLC-410 cameras are ONVIF conformant, which they need to be to connect them to a Hikvision NVR.
You may have an option to enable ONVIF within the camera's network settings, so it's worth checking, or speaking to Reolink directly about ONVIF...
Setting up a new VIGI IP camera or Network Video Recorder (NVR) for the first time? Each VIGI device arrives in a factory default, inactive state, which means it must be activated before it can be added to your CCTV system. This guide will show you how to activate your VIGI device in seven quick...
Hi @ProSecLa - you'll need to open your NVR by pressing on its name or the small play button on the home page. Then, if you press the small arrow to show all of the icons, the option to trigger the alarm output should be there:
use-IP now offers TP-Link’s exciting new range of VIGI InSight IP cameras and NVRs, which can all be found in the VIGI category on our Webshop.
What sets VIGI apart is its “4E” design principle: Easy Planning, Installation, Setup, and Maintenance.
The VIGI range is a long-awaited...
I'm afraid not anytime soon - Hikvision seems to have cut back on bringing 4mm mini bullets into UK stock as they've become less popular.
There's still a good amount of stock of the 4mm 2xx7G2H cameras, so I suspect we'll see some 4mm G3 mini bullets start to arrive later in the year as the G2H...
Yes, here you go:

As mentioned, the settings will almost definitely need tweaking, and hopefully, we'll see improvements with firmware updates, but here are the default exposure and DNR settings used on the G3...
Ask, and you shall receive... :D
We set up a 2387G2 (2.8mm), 2087G2H (4mm) and 2387G3 (2.8mm) to record outside of the office over the weekend as a quick test.
Unfortunately, we didn't have a 2387G2H (2.8mm) here that we could use for the perfect comparison, but hopefully, the 4mm mini bullet...
