As per the advice Hik support gave me when I had a similar hik-connect problem with my NVR, the solution is to restore the device.
This sorted the problem.
I installed DS-KV6113-WPE1 today and updated the firmware to the latest version.
When trying to enable platform access, the Enable button is disabled and I cannot enable it whatsoever.
Is there something I am failing to do?

I just installed a 100W floodlight and it is causing the cameras to 'band' (I believe this is the correct way of referring to it).

These bands slowly move continously down the screen. Although it doesn't cover the entire image, just as much as I have shown in the screen...

I spoke to Hik support and I was able to fix (in my case anyway) - see thread.
I just called Hik support UK and they are aware of this issue.
The guy said that the solution is to restore the unit. He also hesitantly suggested that updating the firmware to the very latest might also fix it but he was unsure.
Rather than restoring the unit, I opted for updating the...

Although, my NVR model is DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P - so that is also different. Bu the point is, I upgraded to the second from latest firmware and hikconnect status has been offline since.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible to plug the DS-KV6113-WPE1 into one of the POE ports in the back of my DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P (8CH Hik NVR)?
I have tried plugging the doorbell into the NVR, the doorbell powers up and makes noises when pressed but the NVR is stuck on...
