Reset NVR and Cameras now not showins

ok, seems at one point the configuration had 8 cameras. But now you have 6. The is my best guess, since all 6 cameras are connected to 1 x NVR POE port: figure out the full IP addresses for all 6 cameras. Extend the column in SADP so you/we can see the full IP address. disable all 8 x NVR...

    Hik-Connect multiple POE switch

    First some observations: I guess that typo is a DS-7616NI-Q1 you omitted the brand/model of the dumb switch, so I'll assume it's a 10/100 switch & it has "zero" 1000Mb ports the DS-7616NI-Q1 has a single 10/100/1000Mb port the DS-3E0310P switches have a 8 x 10/100 + 2 x 10/100/1000...

    M Series Firmware - 5.04.050_250124 Released

March 9 2025, I'm now back on DST. This issue has returned on v5.04.050....... Playback Event Markers on my Web Chrome Browser are off by 1 hour again. Thx for NOT addressing this HIK Development. It's only been a year. EDIT: Oddly enough, a direct login to my Panoramic DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL...

Reset NVR and Cameras now not showins

Just run the SADP tool on your laptop....... with the laptop plugged into a spare NVR POE port. IF you use the LAN port you'll get significantly different results. Be sure to re-try it if you wish. Post a clear screenshot from SADP (but to avoid confusion for the inexperienced, please do...

    Hik-Connect multiple POE switch

What brand AND model is each switch ? Need to know:: dumb or managed switches ? VLAN capable ? speeds of ports ? Brand & model should provide enough info so I can look up the switch spec sheets. What model of NVR ? What will "just work / get by" vs "best" depends on the above.

Reset NVR and Cameras now not showins

The 8 x POE ports on your NVR are in a separate, totally unique network (or "Broadcast Domain") from the LAN port connected to your home network. The NVR does NOT copy (or "route") Ethernet packets from the 192.168.0.xxx network (your LAN port) to the 192.168.254.xxx network (8 x POE ports) or...

How Do I configure Nikvision NVR to add several remote cameras using a POE switch?

Don't get "too" concerned re: saturating the inter-switch link, just yet. I don't have your environment to test with, but looking at my own switches & individual camera links running @ 100Mbs..... then with a bit of math I'll offer this: with 4 cameras sharing a single 100Mbs link: keep your...

How Do I configure Nikvision NVR to add several remote cameras using a POE switch?

you need to manually set a VALID IP address on each of the 4 remote cameras. Use the same IP address "range" that is defined within your NVR. That range might be "192.168.254.xxx" (or it might be some other IP range. Depends how you previously set that up). use SADP to create the valid IP...

    M Series Firmware - 5.04.050_250124 Released

This likely falls in the category of "who really cares ?" FWIW, this is just a small heads up on how NTP has changed with HIK's recent firmware changes. It likely applies wherever you have a Time Server configured. prior to 2025, the M Series NVR (and G5 cameras) would send out a "single" NTP...

    New installation

I'm not familiar with "all" the functions of that camera.... accordingly I can't comment on what functionality would be missing with only 30W available vs. 42W needed. Maybe someone else can weigh in. It appears a device (injector or switch) that supports the: IEEE802.3bt Type 3 (60W) or...

    New installation

Typically, the POE+ switches I'm used to, supply a max of 30W per port. Your switch "might" be different. Log into the switch, and look for diagnostics of some type. Most switches will tell you how many Watts a port is drawing.... or if it's max'd out. If you have access to a POE++...

Cannot access camera , after ticking Enable HTTPS Browsing. Help

I was trying to keep you from climbing up on a ladder or roof. :) Good luck. A factory reset should do it.

Cannot access camera , after ticking Enable HTTPS Browsing. Help

Off the top of my head: do you have an old, spare, wireless router that you can temporarily plug into an NVR POE port ? can you borrow a laptop with a wired Ethernet port ? do you have a spare POE switch or any POE Injectors ? what other networking equipment do you have that we can temporarily...

Cannot access camera , after ticking Enable HTTPS Browsing. Help

192.168.254.2 is probably sitting behind a POE NVR then. Yes ? There's probably a way via Virtual Host but I'm not so sure what port # that would be. Some one else might know. As a workaround: plug your laptop (or PC) into a spare POE port on the NVR MANUALLY set your laptop to an address...

Cannot access camera , after ticking Enable HTTPS Browsing. Help

Provided you're still using the "default" ports, specify port 443, as in: xxhttps://192.168.xxx.xxx:443 substitute 192.168.xxx.xxx for the actual IP address of your camera (or NVR). That should get you a login screen. And drop the xx from xxhttps.

    Hik-Connect Subnet issues

I'm struggling to understand what you're telling & "not" telling us: you tagged this thread with HIK-Connect. Your questions seem unrelated to HIK-Connect. Am I missing something ? you've indicated you have (maybe) 3 subnets in play. Yet, you're trying to get to 1 subnet. What network mask...

Do Hikvision NVRs have a fixed IP address?

Best you start a new thread...... include, at a minimum, the equipment model #'s (DVRs & cameras) and what you've done to attempt to diagnose the problem. I don't have any DVRs to test with, so chances are I won't have the answers you seek. If it's just an IP network issue, the SADP tool (on...

DS 7608 NI Nvr hard quiet drive options

if it helps..... I could have fabricated a fancy bracket to offset the new fan from the vent holes. But why go to all that trouble ? I found that some "hook & loop" velcro (aka double sided velcro) worked just as well. Used it to hold both the new fan & SSDs in place. Sometimes simple is...

DS 7608 NI Nvr hard quiet drive options

On my DS-7616NI-M2 .... yes, my SATA SSDs were plug & format & play. You'll need to figure out a way to hold them in place so they don't flop around. But power cable + SATA cable just plug in & go. The loudest noise will be your fan. Find a quieter one like, Noctua A4x20 FLX or A4x10 FLX...
