Update - still happening even though I added my own min and max boxes. I am going to try switching to H264 as an experiment, I worry 265 is to processor intensive and so causes this issue. Will let you know if that works. Failing that - will try an I series NVR rather than K. Thanks

Yes, exactly that. You could tell NVR had frozen / crashed as the app would not play back the events. Do you have any events like line crossing set up? Maybe it’s events that cause the crash...

Update - about to roll back as even after doing a full reset to defaults (rather than the minor one) - its still kept crashing.

Hi Phil, Still testing this (been distracted with upgrade to v4 on my NVR which is crashing it lol). I did one change though to move the line but still noticed it happening. It is hard to test thoroughly / quickly though as not many cars drive by a night time at the moment and it does get it...

Yes - all footage still remains. Just wipes out a load of NVR settings that I had tweaked - email, virtual host, hikconnect etc

Good idea he he ! I did the ‘Restore’ option that leaves IP parameters in place rather than the ‘Default’ button. Let’s see how it goes .

Thanks - good to know it’s not just me seeing the crash issue. I had the exact same symptoms as you and I am also on 2 crashes now. I have just reset my nvr to default to see if that helps. Thinking maybe some settings from V3 are causing issues with V4. Let’s see...

Update - my NVR crashed this afternoon.. Has never done that before... Was on live view with no way to get past the pass code. Also browser and app could not connect to NVR. Flicking the switch on off at back got it running again but does not look good...

Upgraded this evening - had a quick play with the new interface. All appears to be OK so far

Hi All I am still a newbie at much of this but have been fine tuning my settings as best I can. I recently noticed that my line crossing detection was not being tripped for some vehicles at night. I would say it works 75% of the time at night and is perfect in the day time. Check out the video...

From memory the exit hole from the junction box closes as you twist the connector to make a flush join to the cable - just keep twisting (I may have mis understood).
