NVRs arent design to cover more than 2 monitors really. It kills cpu of nvr to handle normal flow. To handle multiple monitors there is a thing called decoder.

The problem may occur with your NVR, hilook is 2nd grade hikvision product. It might have low input netowrk bandwidth. Having all cranked up will actually start to bottleneck and display various glitches such as green pixels, lags, twitching ,ect... My single 8MP hikvision camera pulls 40mbit...

if u use UTP for cablig and using 2 pairs for video, remove second. Only 1 pair for video, you can duplicate power

Time to take out multimeter and see if multimeter gets same result on sensor output. Alarm input should not behave randomly on its own.

It shouldn't be, i never had problem with changing the cloud url. Try upgrading it, maybe you have problem with firmware and saving settings.

Oh sorry, i forgot you mentioned 4 channels. I'd go with ids-7608nxi-m2/x. Good bandwidth, good decoding capability and a extra spots for expanding current surveillance

If you have acusense camera acusense NVR is not needed. As camera have algorithm for detection on itself and it will pass an event detection toward NVR. So NVR wont do any analytics but camera itself and just notify the NVR. M serie is best hardwarewise. Gives more bandwidth, decoding...

Your cameras are Acusense/ColorVu, therefor any NVR capable of decoding 4x 8MP streams will be fine. I suppose go for M series NVR

Yes in settings/General. There is option to enable login. This is probably turned off, because its not like this by default
