Hi @Kryten22uk
When discussing the above cameras we are doing so thinking of them being used without any IR or White Light, in the small space of a bird box IR LEDs will be too bright and most of the detail will be overexposed by IR light.
Most 'proper' birdbox/wildlife cameras use lower...
Hi @Kryten22uk
As @spirch says, if you want the best low-light performance you want to use a camera with 1/1.8" sensor or larger like the DS-2CD2047G2-LU, but if you are looking for a cheaper solution then yes the 2045 would be an option (be aware though that the 2045FWD model has been...
Hi @MarcF
I assume you are trying to update to the latest V5.2.006 Firmware?
We didn't make it super clear in our original post, but this firmware is only compatible with the latest (E) version of these I-series NVRs and not the (C) version you have.
The latest firmware for your (C) model is...
Hi @atca
Turret cameras are the most popular choice for residential installs because they are a bit more discreet and are slightly more secure than bullet cameras which can be more easily moved/knocked (which can be important if you're not checking the cameras regularly because when it does...
Hi @Island Natural
The spec difference between the K-series AcuSense and I-series AcuSense is actually very small with only some little software feature additions to the I-series NVRs.
The recent big change for the I-series AcuSense NVRs is that the newest generation models now support the new...
Hi @bigmick777
Switching off the AcuSense in the NVR is related to the AcuSense NVRs (K-series & I-series) and not the M-series models, this is because the AcuSense NVRs support the ability to apply AcuSense features to non-AcuSense cameras.
So if you had a mixed system of some full AcuSense...
Yeah, it is a strange way for the detection area to be configured.
Looking at it again I've wondered if the shapes just refer to how many points/corners your detection area has (e.g. select triangle and you can click 3 points on the live image and a triangle area will be drawn between those 3...
Hi @cbbella
Have you tried all the possible mouse controls for creating a detection area? (e.g. right click, double click the live image, double click the shape icons, etc...)
Do you know if the camera supports a MicroSD card? (we have in the past seen cameras where the smart events can only be...
Hi @Nomad
AcuSense is a base feature supported on all the AcuSense (2xx6G2), ColorVu (2xx7G2), and Hybrid Light (2xx7G2H) cameras.
The 7608NXI-K2 NVR only supports up to 80Mbps incoming bandwidth and each 8MP camera can use as much as 15-20Mbps which means your 4 x 8MP cameras and 1 x doorbell...
Hi @Nomad
If you are only planning to use the new AcuSense/ColorVu/Hybrid Light cameras then we wouldn't recommend AcuSense NVRs because the main advantage of these is that they can apply the AcuSense features to non-AcuSense features which you won't need if you already have cameras that...
Hi @John32
Welcome, please share the details of the system you are planning and any questions you have and we'll see how we and the other forum user can help.
Hi @Island Natural
As 2 of your 3 cameras are non-AcuSense, we would recommend using the DS-7616NXI-K2/16P AcuSense NVR as this model can apply the AcuSense features to non-AcuSense cameras.
Hi @Nomad
If your system is primarily going to be 8MP cameras then we would recommend using an M-series NVR as they support AcuSense and support more incoming bandwidth (the 8MP cameras use a lot more bandwidth than the 4MP cameras).
Hi @Blake7
Looking online it looks like the CamHiPro app is designed for use with CamHi Cameras which is probably why the QR Code method is not working (e.g. the app doesn't recognise ZXTECH QR Codes).
Searching for ZXTECH apps, I see that it is recommended to use the BitVision App, maybe try...
Hi @fatalitos
If you have minimal ambient lighting around your property, we would recommend using either the standard AcuSense IR Turrets like the DS-2CD2346G2-IU & the DS-2CD2386G2-IU or the Hybrid Light Turrets like the DS-2CD2347G2H-LIU & the DS-2CD2387G2H-LIU.
Hi @imtiyazp
As far as we are aware, when downloading footage from the web interface you will need to use the VSPlayer and there is no option to change the file format of the downloaded footage.
We think this is probably to do with the fact that the web footage is compressed/encrypted to...
Hi @cameraciguzeli
What firmware version is your 7616NXI-K2 NVR currently running?
Are you saying that under the Configuration > System > Live View menu you don't have the settings to configure different outputs for HDMI & VGA?
Can you please share a screenshot/photo of the Live View menu on...
Hi @warpy
Yes, contacting the original seller is probably the best way to try and straighten out exactly what model you have and what firmware version it should be using.
One final thing that I just noticed, the product pages you've screenshotted above are not actually for your camera model...
