As a matter of interest - any other apps out there for Mac OS that work with Hikvision cameras? For example, Xeoma etc? Or are we "stuck" with IVMS?

Hmm ... mine was working, but since upgrading Mac OS, the software freezes when opening. I guess more of he same "hit and miss" with this company :-/

Just wondering if anyone is still using iVMS-4200 software for the Mac and it is working under OS 10.15 (Catalina). Mine isn't. I have v.2.0.0.10 and that seems to be the latest. Mine crashes all the time. Any ideas, Phil and others?

Yes - latest v2.0.0.10 ... NVR device successfully added, I can do remote config, etc for NVR.. but none of the cameras (which are on a different subnet) appear in either Main View or Device Management ... just the NVR.

Thanks Dan ... the issue (I think) for me ... can't see any cameras. Presume this is because each is plugged directly into PoE ports on NVR and they are under a different IP range to the rest of the network. That is, no cameras are appearing from me to drag in.

Also ... Dan ... am I missing something? Latest version of IVMS 4200 for Mac ... downloaded, installed, and now no cameras in live view. All mine are connected to NVR directly and form part of the CloudP2P Hik-Vision ... have I missed something with this new version?

Really appreciate - but on the NVR matter, yes, I rely on line crossings, etc, so I won't upgrade the NVR firmware as yet. May I check @Dan ... for DS-2DE4A220IW-DE, the latest firmware remains: V5.6.0 build 190128 ? I thought it had been updated more recently, but it appears the Euro site...

Thanks Phil - sure am using 10.14.3 (64-bit), running on a MacBook Pro *and* iMac. Using IVMS 4200, version 2.0.0.5 (build: 20190220). I was using v2.0.0.4 - but same types of bugs (crashes on occasion, cannot update firmware of NVR or cameras, live view is clumsy).

Thanks Phil .. I've been trying this for a while, but typically buggy. Frequently crashes. Furthermore, doesn't allow upgrading of firmware on individual cameras or NVR, so still need web interface with the [seemingly-never-coming] plugins, etc.

Since the great plugin plague [that is, no plugin for Apple Safari, and being on a Mac, no other browser appears to work for the settings] when I log into the individual cameras that are connected to the PoE ports on the NVR, the "browse" button on the config page does not allow you to search on...
