Just noticed this seems to be the latest offering
https://www.hikvision.com/en/products/IP-Products/Network-Video-Recorders/Ultra-Series/ds-7616ni-m2-16p/?q=ds-7616ni-m2-16p&pageNum=1&position=1&hiksearch=true#download-agreement
Motion detection.
Logging on via the web to the camera shows the same setting has transfered from setting on the nvr using hdmi monitor over to the camera.
Tried all settings from 0 to 100 in steps of 20 in the nvr will nil effect.
So my guess is the 2387 which is on port1
I have 5 old 2385s...
Movement sensitivity adjustment makes no change I have noticed.
Set it to 0 in the nvr gui and it still triggers.
Nvr
Ds-7616ni-m2/16p v4.63.025
Cam ds-2cd2387g2 v5.7.14
Anyone else find this.
Thanks
I now have found settings which produce smooth non jerky live viewing of fast moving cars.
3840x2160
Constant
Medium
25fps
General
8192
H265
I frame 50.
Time will tell fingers crossed
Hope it helps you
I have noticed cats triggering intrusion set for human only on my camera since upgrading firmware.
So I logged into the camera and set target validity from basic to high.
No change, cat still triggers.
So I changed the min size of target to slightly larger.
Seems to have fixed it.
Something to try.
Could Hikvision move in a firmware update the position of the red record icon clapper board to the far outside top right corner so as not to block the main field of view and say decrease its size.
A idea that may be worthwhile perhaps.
Its the jerky vision on playback thats got me puzzled.
No matter what setting is changed relating to the camera just cant get 100% smooth vision of moving cars.
Some high settings get the seconds time display way out of wack and the seconds hang then speed up to catch up.
Have run out of ideas...
With my new 7616NI-M2/16P and same camera I had been using
3840x2160
Variable
Medium
20fps
General
8192
H265
I frame 50.
It suffers from a small amount of jerky vision with moving cars only on live view.
Increasing settings only makes it worse.
I have my live view set at fluency and monitor 4k...
Just checked for any new firmware for my
DS-7616NI-M2/16P
https://www.hikvision.com/au-en/products/IP-Products/Network-Video-Recorders/Ultra-Series/ds-7616ni-m2-16p/
Got it sorted.
IP number on cam1 was.8 and nvr wants .2.
98% setup done on new nvr
Found where the setting in nvr browser for virtual host was and logged into the cam and changed ip.
Regards
Fred
