As a side to this, now it’s working fine with the app, is there a way to rename the door station? When the app rings, it announces “call from main door station”. I’d like to rename it so it says “gate”, or “front door” etc. I can’t find this option anywhere? thanks.

@Kyle Thanks for the detailed reply. Much appreciated. Turns out the date was set wrong on the indoor station. I had thought I had tried this fix after googling, but the year was set to 2021 still. Correcting the date and time on the indoor station immediately fixed the problem. Thanks...

Yes, that’s what I was reading. I think you can only extend long distances to their own cameras, and only on PoE ports. I’m pretty sure the uplink ports are just standard Ethernet. I was hoping someone would say that was wrong :-) i guess I’ll order a new pair of LongSpan converters...

Hi. Im looking to replace an old Qvis DVR with a Hikvision. The existing cameras are a mix of 2.4MP and 4MP AHD cameras. Looking at the specs on the Hikvision, for AHD they show 4MP, 1080p/25 etc, but not 2.4MP. Would the old Qvis 2.4MP work with a new Hikvision? Cheers.
