Ok I've figured out how to do it on the NVR, but when viewing from a browser it's still the wrong order.
seems I need to somehow change the channels, so that "Back" is D1, and "Garage" is D4?
about changing the layout, I can't see any "x's" on there to click. where are they?
I did manage to click and drag them around to the right order on my NVR, but when viewing from a browser they are in the wrong order still
I'll give that a try thanks. I do use the NVR for all the system alterations normally, but it's in the loft , so the screenshot I posted earlier from my PC was just easier than going upstairs and taking a photo on my phone and uploading the photo etc
sorted, at first it didn't work, I had to swap another camera but then yes as you said they both came on after a few mins. thanks for your help. I still have another problem but i'm in no rush to sort it out, how do I change the position of the cameras on the screen? "back of house" used to be...
you'll have to explain this a bit more please. The cameras Ip address is 192.168.1.64 yes. how do I set it to the same range?
It's showing as "inactive" in SADP tool and when I've tried to go to that ip address and I see the page asking me to input a password.
good point about the power supply i just thought all ethernet ports provided power. I've just cut up an LED tape power supply and connected that to the terminals on the camera and I can now find it using the SADP tool! now to find out why the NVR won't pick it up
I've just downloaded SADP tool onto an old laptop and connected that directly to the camera (to rule out my PC or any of the network cables) and nothing comes up. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong
I think it's more likely a problem with the NVR, or some settings in that as I have been trying to add both cameras and noting works. I don't understand why it won't let me delete anything. videos online show a little bin icon next to cameras, and they just click on it and it's deleted. mine...
just tried that (using the NVR) and it didn't work its still saying wrong password. I don't have a 12V adapter. I'll try resetting using my router as a power supply. I'm unplugging, pressing the reset button and plugging in whilst holding reset button for 20 secs
So as the 2 cameras can't be detected using the SADP tool does that mean they are broken.....?
actually I have just disconnected one of my working cameras and plugged it an and refreshed SADPtool and it doesn't find it
the camera that I'm selling (have sold), can I just reset it using the reset...
also when trying to connect either camera to my NVR, nothing works.
on the NVR screen it shows my 3 working camera, and below I see "ip camera 4" but I don't get a picture, it says it's connected (with the screen tick) but funnily enough when I unplug it it still says it's connected.
when I try...
