Hi JB1970, when you say camera PSU you mean unplug the power cable from the camera ? If so I have removed the BNC connection for that camera from the DVR side (camera is mounted high up and would be a struggle to get up there) and it clears the text but after a short while it re-appears

Thanks All, firmware updated only to V4.21.000, tried the 4.25.001 kept failing so could not apply this. I will try the camera menu fix as suggested to remove the text from one the camera, thanks JB1970

Thanks Dan, I will update the firmware on DVR soon, no idea of camera models as they are mounted out of range to check and I cannot see anywhere in the DVR of the models for these. I am hoping DVR firmware update will shed some light on camera models

Hi Dan Apologies for so many questions, this is all new to me. I work in IT but CCTV is not something I have dweleved into much. If I connect a ip camera to my router using a Poe injector so it’s on the same ip range. Can I then add this camera to the dvr or Ivms ?

Hi David Found the issue in the end, the cat 6 cable coming from NVR NIC to router was faulty, the connector on the router end was not crimped correctly, this has now been replaced. I also had all cat 6 cables tested. Appreciate all the help :)

Hi David Yes same IP address would appear withe the first NVR, thinking back I never had this issue with VM router when I used it in router mode. When I first installed the amazon router the NVR did not pick an I address and I had to reboot several times for it to get the correct IP address...
