I successfully did this with a DVR running 3.x firmware and assumed it worked on NVRs too. I had an old K series NVR running on 3.x firmware but stupidly updated the firmware prior to defaulting the unit and it would not unlink through SADP/NVR GUI unbind button.
I contacted Hik who advised...
The only reliable way is by factory defaulting the recorder which will unlink iirc. Whatever you do, don't update the firmware prior to doing this otherwise the only way is to unlink it will be via the original hik-connect account it was added to.
There is a updated version of firmware 5.7.13 with build number 230504. Updated my cameras without anything obvious to note.
Update notes:
Repair the problem of the previous version: the speaker over power damage of /SL model.
Fix the smart supplement light issue of V5.7.13.
Problem...
@Black Diesel Hikvision removed the ability to trigger the white light on motion in the G2 colorvu models and only support this on the liveguard models (LSU/SL) with the latest firmware. Customised firmware 5.7.2_211228 was the last revision that supported this on G2 colorvus.
Not sure if the...
I've noticed the same low 2-way output with my DS-2CD2387-LSU/SL(C) cameras and DS-KV6113-WPE1 intercom months ago while the cameras were still on V5.7.3_220216 SP. Recently updated them to V5.7.12_221201 and the problem persists. Sounds like Hik-Connect is the problem
In the Dahua NVR under TCP-IP, tap the modify icon and turn DHCP on. Next, log directly into the camera through your PC browser at http://192.168.1.10 and see if you can locate a setting to turn on onvif and create an onvif user account which you'll need to replicate on the NVR when adding the...
The UK portal is indeed a mess. Hik removed a lot of the Turbo 4.0 DVR firmware last fall when I reported a bug and recently for the aforementioned IP cameras, they advised downloading 5.7.12 direct from the hikvision.com website
Thanks for reporting back. I am still on 5.7.3 and was worried about updating past 5.7.10 namely because of this bug but also because of the update notes that 5.7.10 will no longer allow downgrading. I was hoping for improved acusense human detection as I get lots of false positives on clothes...
@JB1970 or anyone else updated to this firmware and any issues to report? Have they fixed the HC light/siren manual triggers that were stopping by themselves after 3 seconds?
By pure coincidence, this issue happened to a site I manage with the end user registered as the main account on Hik-Connect so contrary to prior belief, this is most probably something innocent and related to Bugvision's managed platform itself rather than treachery by your installer.
You...
The screenshot seems to suggest that the installer is a Hikvision partner who has primary admin access and has shared but now revoked access to their customer (OP's friend).
We could probably help you unbind the device and re-add it however not knowing the full history and the strong suspicion...
You can hard refresh the NVR page in firefox and edge (CTRL + F5) and this should reload the page instead of pulling up a cached version. I find it usually helps clearing your browser cache entirely as some of the web UI pages may still load from cache
iDS-7208HUHI-K1 for your DVR
If you have decent coax then you can push the boat with 4K cameras. If colorvu tickles your fancy, go for the 8mp colorvu (DS-2CE72UF3T-E). The alternative if you don't fancy your house looking like a Christmas tree are the 8mp IR turret (DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F).
If you...
The latest firmware for your DVR is 4.25.001 build 201107, see the download link (second file). You can upgrade straight to this version but it's recommended you factory default and set your DVR up from scratch after updating
The K series NVRs lack support for acusense camera functions. You need either the DS-7608NI-I2/8P or DS-7608NXI-I2/8P NVR to fully support your camera including 2-way audio
