sorry, old thread but how do you configure doing this. i.e. is it just as simple as setting up the SD card in the storage management section of the camera and will it overwrite as needed? And assuming you have it set to notify surveillance centre its going to record to the NVR as well?

Hi all, installed a new Hikvision CCTV solution and all working fine. Replacing the intercom now that controls a FAAC 455 gate control board. The FAAC control board only works with clean contact zero voltage triggers. Can anyone advise if the KD8003 is zero voltage on the NO terminals? thanks

thanks for the heads up, yes i was thinking the same. Was thinking maybe using the alarm out on the NVR to do this. Not sure about closing the gates, probably just need to have them on a timed close after opening. thanks

Hi Dan, sorry one more question....I heard the NXI have a much nicer and newer interface, is this correct. If so and I decided to go with the NXI instead of the NI, would the accusense on the camera override the NVR or would there be a compatibility issue at all?

Morning all, got 5 colorvu DS-2CD2387G2-L turrets, was looking at the Hikvision 7608NI-K2 NVR but read some posts about it not being powerful enough for some of the AI. Should I go with the DS-7608NXI-I2 (dont need PoE as feeding the cams via existing PoE switch). Any thoughts? thanks
