ANPR Camera: Image Settings for bad Light Conditions?

Struggeling with image light settings. Please help

Using the VIDAR SMART Camera from AR

Light Conditions
Sun shines directly on plate causes bad ANPR confidence. How to change image light settings (like Exposure, Flash)?

See p38-41 of the VIDAR Camera user manual that takes you through the Brightness & Exposure settings, you will need to adjust these settings to make the day image darker/less sensitive to light and this should remove most of the sunlight glare from the number plate.
