Put simply, I have a 4 camera I.P CCTV system and I absolutely hate with a passion the software that that uses. (SmartPSS, which no longer works with the new Catalina OS on Mac)
I have been told that if I get another NVR or DVR (I don't know the difference) then I could just plug in my current cameras which are POE and use the software on that system. One that is easier to operate.
I was thinking Hikvision (as I recognise the name) 8 channel but don't think it can be that simple.....is it?
