Can I view Hikvison DS 2CD2342WD 1 4MP WDR remotely on iPAD?

I can see the camera on the iMac through iVMS4200 and also in the Safari browser (with plug in from Hikvision site).

I downloaded the mobile app iVMS 4500 HD and it won't access the camera when I am somewhere else.

I also tried access it through Safari on the iPad and nothing happening there either.

I can only see it remotely with SecuritySpy software but I have to have the iMac on 24 hours a day/all the time because it is set up as a server. This is not an option for me.

Is there plug in for the iPad? Or another solution.

Just download the normal iVMS 4500 App, not the HD one...

The iVMS 4500 doesn't work either but I found HikConnect - that works with iPhone and iPad! Unfortunately, the instructions are like those for iVMS 4500 - ambiguous sentence construction, puzzling words that send you off on the wrong track for days. The Hikvision cameras are really good quality and the product catalogues very slick but, it's downhill from there when it comes to their product manuals, wording and lack of clarity. I hope they don't make medical equipment!
