Hi there!
This is a severe gap in my knowledge. In searching I've found vague references to emulators for Windows PCs but that is about it.
Of course the Hikvision* DVR literature addresses port forwarding, DDNS or static IP addresses if one is desirous of viewing footage remotely on Windows based devices.
In my tiny spot that would mean 5 static IP addresses at unaffordable rates.
What are my options?
A smart phone at each station including the guard hut? (Perish the thought!)
Ps:- This is a growing setup comprised of 5* independent surveillance systems , weaned out of other DVR brands when it was only necessary to get the port forwarding right and pay a modest annual fee to the DNS service.
