Firmware DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P firmware upgrade issues?

May I ask for help on my NVR, it is running on V3.4.80 build 160718 since I got it installed and has failed any update I tried a few times in the past.

not even taking NVR_K41_BL_EN_STD_V3.4.103_181226 ( this was a minor update) and comes back with failed to update the device message.

Is anyone has seen a similar issue and has any recommendations?

If you look at the K-series NVR firmware folder from the Download Portal have you tried any of the other firmware versions from the list? (v3.4.80 and down)

so is the latest version supported for this NVR is V3.4.98 build171121 ?

Hi @Santosh43

No, the latest version is V3.4.103_build 181226 but this version is over 2 years newer than the version you are currently running (the build numbers are the build date for the firmware in the Chinese format [YY/MM/DD])

Sometimes, when the gap between firmware versions is this big and there are this many versions between the NVR won't accept jumping past all these versions, we would recommend trying to update to V3.4.92 build170228 or V3.4.95 build170626 first.

To be clear, we are recommending that you update to V3.4.92 build170228 or V3.4.95 build170626 first, if that update works you can then try updating to the latest firmware.
