DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D) firmware update fail

Evening all,

I have recently had the above nvr installed with 3 G3 colorVu 8mp. After install it’s got the horrible echo / audio interference as I’ve read in previous posts.
Today my installer has sent me an update from hikvision but it keeps getting stuck at 0%.

Current firmware is - V4.84.001 build 250314

New firmware ( from what I can decipher from file via ChatGPT) is -

• Firmware Version: 6.0.0
• Build Number / Pack Date: 250611 (interpreted as 2025-06-11)
• Build Time: 16:01:28
• Firmware Creation Date: 2025-07-10 14:29

I wonder if anyone can assist?

The echo is an issue with the G3 camera not the NVR. Environmental noise reduction is turned on by default and it just seems to screw the audio up. You need to log in to the camera itself not the NVR. In the Audio settings you can turn off the ENV. Unfortunately you’re then stuck with wind noise. The latest camera firmware does not fix it.
