Beste vrienden,

Ik heb onlangs deze Hikvision NVR aangeschaft DS-7608NXI-I2-8P-VPRO.

Deze NVR kenmerkt zich door zijn slimme zoekfunctie.

Voordat ik het kocht, heb ik advies ingewonnen en kreeg ik te horen dat alle camera's in de G2-lijn worden ondersteund.

Ik heb nu drie camera's uit de G2-lijn en ik kan op twee daarvan de slimme zoekfunctie activeren en gebruiken.
Alleen de DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL kan niet worden geactiveerd voor deze functie. Ik kan het niet activeren (aanzetten) in de NVR.

Mijn leverancier kan ook niet helpen, aangezien deze NVR nog erg nieuw is en hij er nog niet naar heeft gekeken. Zoeken met behulp van AI geven alle resultaten aan dat de camera in kwestie dit moet ondersteunen.

Is er iemand die mij verder kan helpen?

The Panoramic version that you have (DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL) uses a different firmware version to the standard camera. For it to be compatible, it must have the 'AcuSearch' feature available in the menu and turned on. You can find that by logging into the camera directly and going to:

VCA > General Settings > AcuSearch

That needs to be on as shown. If you don't have that option, make sure your camera is on the latest available firmware.

Are you looking in the menu of the camera directly (it can't be seen in the NVR menu)? If so, I guess that the panoramic version does not support AcuSearch as your firmware is recent.

Yes, that's what I see directly in the camera and not in the NVR.

I downloaded this latest update via HiTools Delivery. Is there another way to download a working firmware update? The latest update from 20-11-2024 is available via the Hikvision website.

There are a few sources but it seems you already have the latest and that camera doesn't have the feature.

This camera is excluded from G5 series to support Acusearch.

This is not mentioned in the promo for the recorder (DS-7608NXI-I2-8P-VPRO).

We've spoken to our Hikvision support contact about this, they have confirmed that the G2P models do not work with the AcuSearch feature on the VPro NVRs.

That's a shame, and disappointing that it wasn't mentioned beforehand (at least in the video).

I'll have to look for a new 180-degree camera that is supported.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps the new dual lense, but its not single 180 its 2 channel

Nog een vraag: we weten dat de camera momenteel niet wordt ondersteund. Maar de camera voldoet aan alle eisen van een Acusense met mens- en voertuigdetectie. De belangrijkste vraag is nu of de AcuSearch-functie in de toekomst wel of niet wordt geüpdatet.

Zou u dat willen vragen?

"One more question: we know the camera isn't currently supported. However, it meets all the requirements of an AcuSense with human and vehicle detection. The most important question now is whether or not the AcuSearch feature will be updated in the future.
