DS-9664NI-M8 Events in HikConnect

I had a setup with 20 Hikvision Cameras, NVR that was a DS-9632NI-I8, and an indoor station - DS-KH9510-WTE(B) - with 2 x intercoms.

I had setup up certain cameras for Intrusion detection events, and Region entrance Detection.

All was registered on Hik-Connect on IOS.

All was working well, if any of the intrusion events triggered on the cameras, the indoor station makes a noise, and an alert pops up in Hik-connect.

I then, upgraded to a DS-9664NI-M8

Initially i ran both NVR's side by side, to ensure the same setup but with the new NVR on a different ip address.

Once configured i put the old NVR on a different IP address and the new NVR on the old NVR's original IP address.

Now the Intrusion alerts wont come through on the indoor station or on Hik Connect.

The odd thing is they show up on the NVR through events search filtered on perimeter, intrusion detection.

So i have tried the following.

1) reboot all cameras
2) checked firmware is all up to date on NVR and cameras
3) unticked alert surveillance center on the events
4) re-ticked alert surveillance center on the events
5) removed NVR from hik-connect
6) removed indoor station from hik-connect
7) added them both back again

Whats strange is i cant see the events in the notifications in hik-connect, but i can see the events on the NVR???

This may be nothing, but in Hik-connect when i click into notification in the DS-KH9510 there is a switch "Report Events" and Receive and Push Events (i have both ticked)

On the 966NI-M8 it only says receive and push events (which i have ticked)

This is bound to be something daft i am doing, so maybe a fresh look at it another day may solve it.

However has anyone got any ideas?

This is a longshot, but I think you have to have "Notify Surveillance Center" checked on both the camera(s) and the NVR (on the NVR, under Event Center, for each camera):

I see you already tried removing and re-adding the NVR in Hik-Connect... for now, I can't think of anything else... will think about it more... or JB will be along to help!

Are the cameras "Armed" in Hik-Connect?

Yes. All armed.

I have no idea how, but this now seems to be working.

I armed and disarmed a few times. Then over night the events started working this morning.
