Door Entry DS-KH9510 factory image ? how to upgrade?

I noticed today a new firmware for our indoor device, but its an .img file, factory image
With ivms we can only upgrade digicap.dav files? so how can we use this .img file instead?

Hi @NoFate - how are you extracting the contents of the .zip folder?

I've just downloaded the firmware (it's actually V2.1.74 despite it being titled 2.1.76 in the portal), and there was a second .zip folder within that with a digicap.dav firmware file within:

No, on UK portal, it actually downloads 2.1.76, and after extracting the zip, there is a huge 1.6gb factory image file with .IMG extension...

2.1.74 is indeed a digicap

Sorry, I hadn't realised that I had downloaded the wrong file - just tried again and am seeing the same .img file.

I'll ask Hikvision for some input, as this doesn't seem right.

It was a mistake, Hikvision has just confirmed that there hasn't been a newer version released than V2.1.74, thanks for flagging this.

It should be removed shortly
