Hi everyone

Ok so I’m having trouble adding some flir fc 313 to a hikvision nvr, basically the site has had two new nvrs installed, I’m using onvif but I’m getting nothing , has anyone got anything on this ?

Thank you

Hi @Sammybongo

That is a camera model, in your original post you said the site had 2 NVRs. Can you please confirm the model numbers of these 2 NVRs?

They are both the same , sites a mix of Hik cameras and flir, the flir ones I can’t seem to get on with them nvrs

Are the FLIR cameras wired directly to PoE ports on the NVRs or are they connected to separate PoE Injectors/Switches on the same local network as the NVRs?

They are wired in a separate Poe port around 200-300 meters away, comms to these are done via fibre

Are you able to access the FLIR cameras individually using a browser or FLIR software?

Yes I can , I have three which I will need to reboot to change the ip and password but haven’t figured this out on flir yet (if you know let me know)

We've never worked with FLIR cameras before, so our knowledge of their setup is very limited.

With some ONVIF-compliant cameras, ONVIF has to be enabled and/or an ONVIF user profile has to be created in the camera settings to allow you to add the cameras as an ONVIF device to an NVR.

ONVIF settings are usually found in the network settings, but it might be different for FLIR cameras and you are probably best off checking the user manual for these cameras.
