M series software questions (moving to the M side)

I’ll go in, set enable, even play with the times, come out, “says it’s enabled” go back in, it’s not again.

Non of my other NVR’s act this way

Are you trying to set a schedule, or just turn notifications on/off manually?
 
I have Hik-Connect for iPhone Version 6.7.350.20241224.1 ... are we using the same version?

Any with others and issues I've known, i know people needed to have the schedule set as well to get them
 
This is the unit it’s replacing,
1. first picture it’s enabled like the new (problematic unit)
2. This second picture is enabled and it always stays enabled, where as the M series turns back to disabled as soon as you leave the page.
3. Third picture, both units look like this, so further confusing.

So strange, I don't seem to have settings for a notification schedule on mine... I thought I have seen that, but I must have been confusing it with the EZ-Viz app I also use.

Maybe our settings are different because we have different M-Series NVR's?
 
For anyone else having the issue of no notifications in HikConnect. Delete it from the app and re-add and it seams to work now, notifications say they are disabled unlike other units however.
 
I must be missing something here but what you’ve shown is just saying that the schedule is disabled, not notifications. I’ve known users mess with the schedule and get no notifications as they end up with a schedule of ‘never’ then enable it (easy to do)

One thing I’ve noticed across multiple NVR models is that when updating to a version that supports arming areas in Hik Connect they initially show as armed but no notifications are received. One time only, disabling from the arming screen and then immediately re arming resolves that.

Notifications can be enabled/disabled per site at app level using Me > Settings, or via the three dot menu > Settings on the individual site. The arm/disarm area is only available in Hik Connect for some devices (the M models included). That is used to arm/disarm individual cameras or (as I prefer) a number of cameras grouped as you se fit into zones.

I’d expect some strange results if using both general notification settings to enable/disable and arming/disarming cameras/zones.
