hacking china IP camera - need help for rtsp , password for telnet

I have a similar issue. A Chinese no-name camera that would only play via HDLivecam app. I nmapped and found it is listening on 8554/tcp port for rtsp. when trying to connect via VLC, it prompts for authentication. It seems to accept admin 123456 but disconnects immediately with the following in the log.

live555 error: Failed to connect with rtsp://192.168.68.110:8554
satip error: Failed to setup RTSP session
-- logger module stopped --

Any help / direction would be appreciated.
Fellow26, I have the same cam and app. Have you had issues with the time line since daylight savings time?

Yes, time has not updated. App is really lousy hence why I am trying to run this camera on different app.

Hi,
You can try:

rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.68.110:8554/stream1
rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.68.110:8554/stream2

Both work for me.

I have the same issue with my camera. I have bought 360eyes in Great Britain. My grandmother have sent to me it with all other things with a help of a capesize holdco transport company. Just yesterday it has arrived and now I am trying to understand how does it work.

The thing is, that my camera is also chineese. However, I do not know how to set it up using a computer software. Other forums did not give me any kind of answer on my question. But I am actually glad that you have fixed your problem!

Hi,
You can try:

rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.68.110:8554/stream1
rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.68.110:8554/stream2

Both work for me.

This also worked for me. Using the same app as the other gentleman. You seem to know your stuff, I'm curious, is there a way to change the admin password? after feather review of browsing the app, I don't see an option. Wondering if there might be a way such as, connecting to the device via terminal or adding a txt/config file on the mircoSD card?
