HIK-Connect app - 'No permission' error?

This morning while out and about we got a notification on the HIK-Connect app on the iPhone, in this situation we typically look at the notification and then go to the main view and open the camera(s) to see what is going on. My wife more than me, as she is the more paranoid of the two of us :)

Anyway to cut a long story short - this morning when looking to open a camera view it tries to open it, then falls back to the thumbnail with a 'No Permission ' error.

The only things changed that I'm aware of:
  • The HIK-Connect app updated yesterday
  • I applied a recommended firmware update to my Netgear Orbi router yesterday (although the HIK-Connect app seemed fine after the update)
Anyone any clues as to how to fix the issue? Anyone else suffering a similar issue?

This just happened on my wife's phone but not on mine - I'm the owner and the system is shared to her account. I simply re shared the system to her account again and the 'no permission' stopped happening. There was no sharing invite received on her phone but it has cleared the permission error.
 
Interesting where exactly did you make the sharing request from? The web interface or in iVMS?

I re shared directly from the owners (mine) Hik-Connect app. Theres a list of previous recipients so I just reselected my wife's account and ok'd it.
 
Hmm, it's not an option for me if I go into my HIK-Connext app it tells me I have no shareable device. I think originally I added my 'user account' from iVMS. Looks like I'll have to wait on the fixed version.
 
Came here to see if it was a bug as got the same problem since yesterday. Website won’t even let me log in so I think that’s down too . Hopefully it automatically fixes itself
