A Hik-Connect user recently upgraded to an iPhone 13 (currently on firmware 15.1.1). Their previous iPhone had no problems with Hik-Connect app.
When on WiFi - Hik-Connect streaming works fine.
When on 3G or 4G - we just get the loading percentage of streams Hik-Connect views then an error to say it has timed out or video is not available.
I have checked some basic things like web access works fine on 3G/4G and speed tests say the data speed is fine (say 1Mbps to 5Mbps or more).
Streams are low-res 640x480 sub-streams.
We have multiple sites which all use IP/direct connection to NVR for camera feeds and NOT the HikVision server method. So I know this is not a site issue as the problem occurs for all the sites.
We have used both Hik-Connect App and iVMS-4500 apps (offical app-store versions only) on iPhones and Android phones without any issues (before this problem) and this problem occurs on both apps on the iPhone 13.
Does anyone have any ideas or had similar problems with iPhone 13? Thanks
