Hi,

NVR model:
DS-7616NI-K2 / 16P
V4.74.210 build 240108

New Camera Model
DS-2CD2347G2-LU
V5.5.134 build 210927

Old Camera Model:
DS-2CD2342WD-I
V5.5.82 build 190909~

Safari browser Version:
16.6.1

Chrome browser version:
Version 129.0.6668.100

Edge browser version:

Background:
1. I log in to my NVR using Edge browser, I can see live view for all cameras.
2. I set the Basic and SMD events for all my cameras via the NVR config
3. I have turned off motion detection on all 8 cameras via the NVR config
4. I can log in to my new camera on Chrome and can view live view

Problem
1. I am receiving constant motion detection notifications via the mobile app, even though the motion detection has been turned off for all cameras

2. I was thinking the motion detection is being triggered from the camera configuration but I am unable to set the events in my old cameras:
a. Chrome - browser not supported, I cannot see login screen
b. Safari - no plug-in detected, I cannot see live view
c. Edge - browser not supported, I cannot see login screen

Any help and advice on the problems above would be most welcome

Hi @Murfy92

The Mac browser issues you describe are well known (if you search 'Hikvision Mac' or Mac browser' on this forum you'll see multiple discussions). Currently, Hikvision has no plans to improve Mac compatibility.

Our recommendation would be to check the NVR and camera settings in Hikvision's desktop VMS software - iVMS-4200 MAC V2.0.0.17

Thanks Dan, I never thought of that!
