Hi All,
ive recently installed DS-KV8113-WME1 villa 1 button doorbell
and a DS-KH9510-WTE indoor monitor
I have successfully linked the 2 together and there are no issues with bell ring function to indoor station
successfully added nvr camera to indoor monitor to view via substream
successfully added doorbell camera to nvr as an 8th camera
However i have a few issues with the doorbell
1: i cannot get motion notifications on my monitor or even my hikconnect phone
however notifications comes up from outdoor unit to ivms
On doorbell settings in IVMS
I have selected the whole grid in red square boxes,
schedule for 24/7
linkage enabled to normal linkage and notify surveillance center
access control - device event: major, tampering alarm: minor
sensitivity on 5 (just for testing)
Hikconnect has been set up with notifications enabled for the doorbell
2: when i press the doorbell, and answer via my phone the two way audio fails.
3: when i goto live view of the doorbell (without the doorbell being pressed at station) the audio does not work.... but i have added this door station to my NVR as an 8th channel, when i go via the nvr and do the same it works fine
A couple of settings that might be the cause worth stating
I have not setup an SID
On hik connect, i have added the monitor but not the doorbell.. im not sure if that is correct?
My doorbell is not setup as wifi (it has poe via lan) Same as my monitor
I have updated firmware of doorbell to 2.1.35 build 210406 from global portal
monitor to firmware 2.2.36 build 240115 from global portal
Does DNS settings have a play in this
