HikVision DVR 7204HQHI - Motion Detection Problem - Can anyone help?!

I have recently had to replace my 7204HQHI DVR. The problem I am having is that motion detection seems to be triggering randomly. I have cleared all the areas for the cameras and I they are NOT set to continuous recording. For example, I have a camera in the hallway and when I play back the video I can see it's been recording at random times, no event has triggered the camera to start recording. This is happening on all four cameras, it wasn't happening on my old DVR.

If I go into playback I see blue segments for the "normal" recording, but I can't see anything, no motion which would have caused it to start recording. I have also set it to 20% sensitivity. Will AI stop these false recording events. Have I set something incorrectly in the interface?

I'd really appreciate some help.

Hi @Gee - can you please share the full model number of your NVR, the firmware version it's running, and also the model numbers of the cameras?
Quite often these kinds of issues are sorted with a firmware update.
