Hikvision Modern Slavery

So as the heading states Hikvision I've just found out is linked to Modern Slavery, so the company I work for has put a Block on all purchases from companies that supply Hikvision items, which is Fully understandable and Fully respected, especially as they have been linked to other things such as Spying etc.

My Questions are Unfortunately I use a large amount of their items just installed in the last 6 months.

1, is it wrong of me to continue using them as I don't think it right to just bin an item (exceptions apply in certain cases)
2, Has anyone else bought products from a different company that are compatible with the Hikvision recorders etc

as you maybe able to tell I'm not a qualified CCTV engineer even though I'm still doing the job and have done research into the UK laws etc, my system is IP based but other than standard networking skills thats where my ability ends as I was hoping to continue using Hikvision for sometime and therefore not hit any interface issues.

Any help with other products would be great, I presently use a fixed external grade ip camera part number: DS-2CD2346G2-IU

We have customers who have taken a very moral stance and discarded all of their Hikvision products, and replaced with all new.

We can assist you either way i.e. if you would like suggestions for cameras that can be connected with your current Hikvision NVR as an interim, then we can guide and support you with this.

The Hanwha range of IP cameras would probably be the first range to check.

Yes, Hanwha is a South Korean brand.

They purchased the CCTV business from Samsung.
