Please note that ONVIF is disabled by default in this latest V5.50 camera firmware version.
If you need to use ONVIF compatibility, to record your HikVision cameras on the NVR of another manufacturer for instance, then you will need to enable ONVIF first:

We had a report today of newly updated HikVision cameras not working with Luxriot VMS software.
It was caused by this new HikVision default setting; ONVIF = OFF

If you are using any third-party VMS software or recording solution it may rely upon ONVIF to connect to your HikVision cameras.

Great info that I wished I had seen prior to upgrading my cameras firmware. Instead I had to discover this by spending a great deal of time fault finding and exploring all configuration options. This was also very difficult because my DVR would not accept the known user previously logged in for the ONVIF protocol? I had to create another user in the camera's menu and then log in, after this I logged out and was able to log back in as the original user, very strange but all sorted now and documented.

Steve.
