I have the above two IMOU Cruiser cameras set up, and in general I'm very pleased with them - crisp image, super-sensitive audio, and pretty much glitch-free. I have yet to use them in anger - ie to catch my 'ole of a neighbour damaging my property again - but if/when I do, I'd like to know that it's going to provide me with the relevant clips with as little hassle as possible, and that means to download them easily and reliably.
I have them running on the same App - Imou Life - which works well. However, the SE+ model has a 'Download' icon on the replay screen when I review footage; tap the download icon, and the chosen 5-minute clip plops into my Pictures file. Terrific. But the 2 3MP Cruiser doesn't display this icon. Instead it has a Video Camera symbol which turns on 'Record'. So I can replay the required clip, 'record' it, and then download that, so I do have a way of getting these clips without having to remove the SD card. It would be nice to have that instant 'download' icon on both cameras, tho'!
I've gone into 'Customize Tools', and there is the Download icon there sitting pretty, with a guide on how to add it to the screen, but no, it doesn't do this; I can move it around, 'save' it, but it still doesn't appear on the playback scree. The playback screen currently shows 1X (speed), Record symbol, Camera symbol, back 8 seconds, and forwards. But no download.
Any thoughts?
