Indoor Station not Ringing

Hi all,

I’m trying to set up my Hikvision DS-KH9310-WTE1(B) indoor station with the KV6113-PE1(C) doorbell, but I’m stuck getting them to work the way I want.

Goal:

  • When the KV6113 button is pressed:
    • KH9310 indoor stations should ring, act as an indoor chime, and display the doorbell’s camera feed.
    • All Hik-Connect app users’ phones should receive the alert.

Current setup:

  • KV6113 is connected to my network switch.
  • KH9310 indoor stations are on the same switch.
  • In KH9310 Intercom → Group Settings, I’ve set the KV6113 IP as “Main Door Station.”
  • The KV6113 live feed displays correctly on the KH9310, along with the other NVR cameras I’ve added.

Problem:

  • When the KV6113 button is pressed, the KH9310 receives nothing. I presume the doorbell needs to be told which device to call?
  • In KV6113 → Video Intercom → Press Button to Call, I see a warning: “Set the number linked device for calling”. This seems to indicate the doorbell isn’t linked to any device.

Question:

  • Is there a specific configuration needed so the KH9310 will receive calls from the KV6113 when the button is pressed?

Any advice, screenshots, or working configuration examples would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Did you managed to resolved this issues as I am having the same problem and cannot find a solution

Same problem here, getting the Hikvision door intercom system set up. Specifically, I believe the problem is with the SIP server settings, so that the Outdoor Station call button triggers a ringtone + video and audio connection to the Indoor Station. This is not working despite numerous efforts to test all the possible setting options. The final registration between the two units is failing even though the Indoor unit is connecting to the Outdoor unit and can initiate a connection to the camera, start two-way audio, and trigger an unlock signal.

A brief specification of the system:
Outdoor Station: KD8003-IME1(B)
Indoor Station: KH9310-WTE1(B)
Keypad: DS KD-KP

Screenshots of the correct settings would be useful.

As an aside Chat GPT and Grok have had a deep dive into this problem and cannot find a solution. Lots of evidence that Hikvision unit registration is a very poor piece of software engineering where "Try another reboot, that sometimes works" is considered a reasonable solution!

Too impatient to continue trial and error attempt to fix numerous variables in poorly named tabs and irrational locations. Resorted to an hours consultancy which fixed the problem!
First, complete factory reset both units PLUS delete from SADP and iVMS4200. An extra step I hadn’t tried.
Readopt though SADP and iVMS4200. Basic password 8 characters lower letters and numbers. Same password for both units and for Registration Password. NO SIP server settings enabled. Most settings unaltered/default from full reset. Turns out all the encouragement from AI " … we are on the right track now … " was total BS!
