Hello,

Is there a way to increase the volume of the door station when talking via hik-connect. I couldn't find a way to increase the microsphone volume or the speaker volume of the door station when talking via hik-connect.

Thank you

Hi @DS-KV6113-WPE1

I believe that the only way to change the volume is via the door station's configuration menu in iVMS-4200.

If you haven't already, you'll need to add the door station to the software, and then click on the cog/settings button for it in Device Management>Device.

You can then adjust the main and sub-stream volumes on the Video/Audio>Audio page.

The main stream is the one that's recorded and the HD stream in Hik-Connect, whereas the sub-stream is the lower resolution stream default stream in the app:

Hi,
just stepped over this topic and I am just wondering as I couldn't find any description. What is the difference between Input Volume, Output Volume ans Speak Volume.
I assume the Output Volume is the ringing tone volume and the "the door is open" prompt.
But what is the rest?

Thank you.

I forget which way around they work, I think (but could be wrong):

Input is microphone level of the door station (making the caller louder/quieter to the recipient)
Output is speaker level (making the conversation more less audible to the caller outside)
Speak is the prompt from the unit

Just adjust one down to level one and check what changes then repeat for the others to confirm which setting is which. Or adjust them in the Hik-Connect app where there's Ringtone, Microphone and Two-way audio adjustments in the settings menu for the door station.
