It can't be this hard!

I have just bought the potentially useful HiLook Cube device: IPC-C340HA-D-W

If I reset this HiLook Cube and plug it into Ethernet. I can get to it and configure it via SADP and then add it to my HikVision NVR (NVR-216M-A) by ethernet.

BUT

As far as I can see the only way to join it to my WiFi (I don’t want to use ethernet) is to reset it and configure it via the Hik-Connect App. It is then on my WiFi and talking to Hik-Connect (not wanted). More importantly. I now cannot add it to my NVR, as I do not know the secret password that the Hik-Connect App gives the device.

So in short How can I set the WiFi on the device and add it to my NVR?

It has a web interface but displays generic 404 errors.

OK sorted by trial and error.
The username is admin BUT the password when on WiFi is not the one set by Ethernet but the one set by HIK-Connect which is the Verification code printed on the back of the device.
Even Hikvision tech support didn't know this.
