Hi,

I just installed the latest IVMS 4200 on my PC. And I am supposed to use the Hik-Connect credential to view those cameras.
However, every time I click on the cloud icon to log in to Hik-Connect, the popup window appears but with javascript errors.
If I click on the "Yes" button until the error no longer appears, I only have a blank window in which I can do nothing on it.

Then I tried to run the app using the administrator account, and the popup window correctly loads the login page, but of course, I cannot use the administrator account for this as it is against the security policy.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you!

I'm having the same issue, I have been unable to login to Hik-Connect through iVMS-4200 for a over a month. When ever I try to login to Hik-Connect I get this string of script errors then finally a blank login window.

Could you confirm which version of iVMS-4200 you are seeing this on, please?
Also, which version of Windows are you using?
I've tested a few versions of the software on Windows 11 Pro and can log into Hik-Connect with no problems, so I think the error must exist only on certain setups.

I am using iVMS-4200 3.9.1.4 Client
on Windows 11 Pro, Version 21H2, iOS build 22000.2416

My bad - found real problem. Connection to the cloud is only possible when IVMS is started with administrator rights. Hope, HIK will fix it someday.

I am having this same issue, I am running 3.10.0.6 on iVMS-4200. How can i resolve the issue?

I have the same issue a list of scrip errors with 3.10.17 iVMS-4200, on Windows 10 Pro on PC - Can connect on the phone with Hik-Connect -
What could be the solution ?

Can you please try with a fresh install of V3.10.1.5 and running the program as an administrator?

Hi Kyle - Thanks for the update. Done - but when I input the stream password for encryption I get a error message OpenSDK 521009 - and videos can't be seen on the PC - but is okay on Hikconnect- on the mobile

I am having the exact same problem in a customer environment but the suggested method doesn't work. The computer is on a Windows Domain and if I open the program as a domain admin it works.
If they aren't a local admin and they open it I get the error. If I make the user a member of the local admins group and open it as them or open it as admin it gets the errors.
If I open it as admin with them logged in and not a local admin, and I enter my creds it works.
We are running version 3.10.1.8.

Hello,

We encountered the same problems as your previous post in relation to the web page error and the inability to launch the application in "non-admin".

After some tests we realized that there are different versions of the application and we noticed that depending on the country detected by the website "Hikvision UK & Ireland" the versions of IVMS 4200 are not the same.

So for information we noticed that when we select the country "Global -English" (at the top right of the site) and we go to download the application it offers us the latest version of the application.
Good link = iVMS-4200 V3.11.0.5 & 4200 AC V1.11.0.5
As of 2024-03-03 this is version "iVMS-4200V3.11.0.5_E.exe"

Once installed we no longer had any problems with Cloud authentication and “Non-Amin” launch.

Good luck to all.

Hi Thurmus,

I had the same issue as you on a Domain environment. What it work for me is, i had deleted the app and reinstall again. I added on the ivms4200.exe the user to have full control of the app, and after i installed i added again on the ivms.exe file to have full control. You have to match their name as is it on the Domain environment. They will have full control only on the hik app and not on other apps from the computer

Hope this help :)

Thank you for the suggestion. I would have thought Everyone would be sufficient. I will keep that in the brain back in case I run across something similar in future.
