It seems the KV6113 was installed a bit low, with the camera at 1.4 meters from the ground. I'm considering relocating it to 1.6 meters. Do you think that height might be too high? What is the typical installation height for these doorbells? Unfortunately, moving it will require cutting out and replacing some bricks.

It should be fine at its current height and raising it would be a waste of time. Just go in the menu and make sure resolution is set to 1080P. There is a crop function in the menu that allows you to ‘zoom’. If that is enabled you get a much reduced viewing angle so make sure it is also set to 1080P.

You did answer yourself with installation manual.

Do you see person calling with the current setup?

If yes, i wouldn't change anything.

Thanks, that sounds promising. Can I change the resolution from the indoor KH6320 unit, or I must login into the camera directly?

Your indoor resolution is limited to 1024x600, so changing resolution to higher wont change anything there. But you can change resolution via webinterface of door station to 1080p and have better quality when watching over hik connect.

Login to the unit directly. The resolution would be set to 1920 x 1080. You can then set a crop such as 1280 x 720 and that would be a 1280 x 720 frame within the 1920 x 1080 image. As such you can drag that frame left, right, up down within the overall image to position the cropped frame on your target visitor.
