Mini home cctv product advice?

So basically my current home cctv is 8 x 8MP colour vu cams and an nvr which is absolutely brilliant…..

I’m soon going to be moving and downsizing so I was wondering if there are any decent “stick up cams” on the market which come close to the quality of my current colour vu set up?

I think perhaps a colour vu system for where I’m moving might be a bit overkill … and not having to have an nvr constantly running in the background !

Anyway any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

They're not products that we tend to get hands-on with.
The stick-up type cameras tend to be typically sold via Amazon.
There are usually lots of customer reviews for products sold at Amazon, so perhaps have a good look at those.

Also, lots of YouTubers making new product and comparison videos for this type of home camera.

I can recall people saying good things about Reolink and Tapo.
But there are loads to choose from.

IDK whether those two are subscription free.

Many of these solution types are 'App-only' - from install and setup onwards.
Therefore, it is also worthwhile taking a look at the reviews left for their Apps in the IOS/Android App stores.

Also, check to see if you can find info on real world battery life expectations for your chosen brand and camera too.

I’ve had a dig around on the net and I think I will stick with hik vision … at least I know what I’m getting with that !
