Off subject can you have notifications for just humans and cars? Or does it have to be motion.

Yes... here's where to set it from the NVR web GUI for generic event motion detection:

There are also smarter intrusion detection and line crossing events if you hit "Perimeter Protection".

I get notifications for bloody cats birds and my heating boiler it’s vented out front of my house in basement when it’s on steam goes over my camera causing it to go off a lot. Be good if could have it set to just humans and cars like but don’t think it’s possible. I did change sensitivity down to 0 and still goes off

That depends solely on your event setup. If the camera is an AcuSense model in the event setup ticking the Human and/or Vehicle box should drastically reduce the events to suit what you've ticked.

Edit: I can see you've got 2387s which are AcuSense ColorVu so yes just tick the Human and/or Vehicle box in the event that you're setting up on the NVR. Without that applied I could probably trigger motion detection with a fart!
